I have an interdisciplinary background with a double degree in Psychology and Molecular Biology & Genetics from Koç University, Istanbul. I also did a smeester at the Rutgers University. I then completed a Psychology Master in Cognitive and Social Development of Child and Adolescent at Paris Descartes University. I started working at the LPP during my master; I studied emotion recognition and language development in 2-year-olds using eye-tracking.
Currently I am doing my PhD under the supervision of Dr. Pia Rama, my thesis is on the formation of lexical memory traces in mono and bilingual 2-year-olds; I also work on the role of attention in word learning. I am mainly using the EEG/ERP technique.
Additionally I give Yoga classes for people working at LPP. "
