After graduating from École Normale Supérieure and spending 2 years working in consulting, I chose to return to academia and pursue a PhD. I’m currently in my second year (M2) of Cogmaster. My general areas of interest are (1) infants’ object representations and the development of object knowledge, (2) early categorization and concept learning. I’m keen to study how children use perceptual cues, functional affordances, and causal properties to categorize objects and to build concepts.
This semester I’m working under the supervision of Véronique Izard to prepare my internship at ISC Marc Jeannerod (CNRS, UMR5229) where I’ll explore the visual categorization of zoomorphic objects (inanimate objects that look like animals, e.g. a cow-shaped mug or hedgehog slippers) using the EEG frequency-tagging.
